
Holy Sacraments
The sacraments are essential to the life of a Catholic—they are visible signs of God's invisible grace, instituted by Christ to nourish, strengthen, and guide us on our spiritual journey. Each sacrament marks a key moment in our relationship with God, from initiation and healing to vocation and daily sustenance in faith. Together, they form a path that draws us closer to Christ, deepens our connection to the Church, and empowers us to live out our faith with purpose and love.

Eucharist
Also known as Holy Communion, it is the reception of the Body and Blood of Christ. It nourishes the soul and unites the faithful more deeply with Jesus and the Church.

Reconciliation/ Anointment of the sick
In this sacraments, a person confesses sins to a priest and receives absolution. It restores the relationship with God and the Church after sin. Given to those who are seriously ill or elderly, this sacrament offers healing, comfort, and forgiveness, and unites the suffering person with Christ.

Baptism
The first sacrament of initiation, Baptism washes away original sin and makes a person a member of the Church. It symbolizes new life in Christ.

Confirmation
This strengthens the grace of Baptism. Through the Holy Spirit, the person is empowered to live a mature Christian life and be a witness to the faith.

Matrimony/Holy Orders
Through this sacraments, men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops to serve the Church and administer the sacraments, also the sacred covenant between a man and a woman, blessed by God, to live in faithful love and openness to life. It reflects Christ's love for the Church.
